Khayzuran Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Hi all, If the application asks for your major GPA, is it okay to put your minor's GPA if it is going to be the graduate field you are pursuing (rather than your actual major GPA, which for me isn't quite related to my future grad work)? It's such a simple question but I'm not sure how to interpret it... Thanks.
Sigaba Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 (edited) I would provide the requested information, that is, the GPA for the major. The metric may be used to gauge how well you did in an area of study that required most of your attention and effort as a collegian. If you want to draw attention to your minor GPA, do so in your SoP. Edited November 8, 2011 by Sigaba
emmm Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Agreed -- give them the information they asked for.
