salwa Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I'm interested in an international studies or international relations graduate program, but I don't have a background in the area. I graduated with a degree in finance a year ago and my interests have shifted a bit. I know I wont be accepted into the top programs because I don't have the background but I would appreciate it if I could get some realistic suggestions on masters programs. My interests are in global economics, specifically the economic development of the Middle East. After that I'd like to move on to earn a Phd. I don't know if this information will help my chances but I can speak Arabic and understand most dialects. I have lived in the Middle East and travel there as often as I can. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA and a member of Alpha Chi and Beta Gamma Sigma. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Grad_Nov 1
