I closed my eyes and sent it out today...and then realized I spelled the well-known library I referenced in my Statement of Purpose WRONG. Isn't that clever?

I have a feeling I may be up much of the night..... I don't know if any of these programs have specific time deadlines, but I'm not taking any chances -- I'm getting them in as early in the day as possible. (I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow....)

Um, all of the above. :/ Two AmStud apps, two English apps = two SOPs, three writing samples. Luckily the SOPs are basically the same except for an intro and minor tweaking . . . if only I could get below that darn 1000 word mark.

But I'm glad to have the company!

Yup bespeckled, I haven't actually started on UCLA yet! I'm finishing off my NYU app (for which I had to cut my 20 page paper by 8 pages. They owe me.)

Still working on SoP for UCLA...I tell myself that these are the "practice applications" although sadly NYU is a top choice school for me.

It sucks because I am sooo tired, so I feel like what I'm doing at this point sucks, but I'm afraid to go to sleep because I am worried I will oversleep or I will learn that I some how overlooked a time the apps had to be in by, even though I have checked a million times.

Hello, my fellow Dec. 1st-ers.

Finally fell asleep at 3am, dog woke me up at 5, then back to sleep until 8. Been working all morning on app organization/details and my major writing sample revision for USC and UCLA (my top choice). But it needs to be worked on throughout the day, so I'm now switching over the the "easier" AmStud apps where the writing sample is closer to being ready.

Still customizing and cutting SOPs. What are y'all doing when they don't give a length for SOP or they say "there's no limit, but the average is 2-3pp"? Do you think it'd be okay to go to 3.5?

Hope all your apps are coming together. Timshel, are you still alive after last night's marathon??

Still alive and still working. I haven't slept yet. There is no way I can sleep until I get these done. I am revising my writing sample now.
