rogerfed Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I have just taken my GRE today and found that the score is lower, although not significantly lower, than my first attempt. Do schools take the best score as the indicator or the latest score? Thanks
hunterbear Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I think it's up to the school. They should be able to see all your scores.
balderdash Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I just know that when I worked in undergrad admissions, we always took the highest scores - "we always want to see the candidate in his or her best light." No idea on whether that holds for grad admissions, though. Anonymouse Bosch 1
blaspheming Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Duke took my new verbal and quant scores, and my old 2008 AW score. So, some schools will mix and match, but I'm not sure how common this is.
