contretemps Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I know money isn't the only basis for choosing a grad school, but I'm just curious to know how much is the *annual* TA stipend schools are offering this year. For example, from the results section, I found out the ff: U Florida - 22k USCalifornia - 25k USCarolina - 23k U Chicago - 28k UNC - Chapel Hill - 26k Princeton - 29k Miami U - 22k UIUC - 23k U Tennessee - 23k Anyone else who want to add?
JonotanVII Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 For MIT, they're offering 2,530/month which turns out to be 30,360. Makes sense since the living cost in Cambridge is really high...
Chande Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 For UNC-Chapel Hill the 26K is including healthcare- the base is 23K. For UF 22K is the base and healthcare is also included just not listed in the amount given.
