Hey all, in case anyone is still waiting to hear from UMaryland, I contacted the department and they said: "Most decisions have not gone out yet. You should be getting a decision hopefully by the end of February, first week of March."

Not saying much, but still... Good luck to everyone.

Thanks for letting us know, especially since I applied there.

Thanks for the update, that's helping to keep me from utter despair--especially as I got de-valentined by Ohio State today. Think that makes sense anyhow, as the application date was so late for UMD.

@Adorno congrats on the Waitlist, I think there is a great chance you find yourself fully accepted soon. Second, whats up with UMass? I see all these rejections "via website" but my online account still says applied???? Did we make it through the first round of cuts....

I will most likely be going to the Kentucky event.

I hope you enjoy your trip, and good luck getting funding.

Someone on the Results Survey said that UK doesn't finish making funding decisions until May. That seems absurdly late. Here's hoping you find out much sooner!

I may see you there depending on how things go next week.

Has anyone heard from Georgia State?

They have a fairly late deadline, Feb. 1st, if I remember correctly. Just by looking at previous results I wouldn't worry too much until early-mid March.

Anybody applying to Syracuse, Albany, Stony Brook, CUNY? Its been quiet from NY schools besides NYU

Been lurking here for sometime.. This waiting is killing me!

Anyone else waiting on Syracuse? (I think most of the others in NY have posted decisions, right?)

Congrats to those who have heard back and received acceptance! I was curious, is anyone still waiting for Oregon, Umass, Uconn, Brandeis, Temple? I know a couple of these schools have yet to finalize but has anyone had any contact with the departments that would care to share some information?

I know for a fact that Temple has not made offers yet, since I saw a colleague on the admissions committee there at a conference and he/she said they have yet to even meet.

Thanks Penelope.

I've been lurking and learning here. I do have some info for the poster with regards to Georgia State.

I just received an acceptance e-mail and from Georgia State today for the post-MA PhD (and am wildly excited) and that I am on the "shortlist for funding", depending on acceptance of prior offers. This may not help with general info, as from what I read here I am in a small subject field (law and courts, as I have been practicing law for the last twelve years).

The e-mail noted that they are having a prospective students weekend March 23-24. I also called last week because something was missing from my app and they let me know that it could have been received and not yet processed and that they do rolling admissions. Given this info, I am assuming they are still processing admissions, so take my situation for whatever it is worth.

Hi mfdeacs, thanks for the post. Congrats on the acceptance! Thankfully I have received an acceptance email as well. I'm now looking to chose between GSU and UGA. Are you planning to attend the visitation weekend? My wife and I are planning to attend. We should grab a drink.

Congrats as well. I am planning on attending, especially since I live right outside Atlanta. My wife and I would love to grab a drink with both of you (depending when her French conference wraps up).

I am still waiting to hear from Oregon and UConn myself, though I haven't had any contact with any of them so I can't help you out. Hopefully we hear soon (though I did see you heard from Oregon and claimed the acceptance. Congrats!).

I did get a bit of news late last week from Uconn, the committee is still reviewing files. I'd expect maybe this week, but I bet next on Uconn. As for oregon, I have no idea if they are finished, so I can't help you out there. Whats your subfiled?

Are you going to visit UGA? I emailed and they do not have a scheduled weekend but will set up a visit. I'm going to wait for a funding decision before I make the trip up, but I'm hoping to get some other people's thoughts on the department.

As of now it looks like I'm going to be studying behavior at UF.
