Kuriakos Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Toronto or Texas? I got my rejection from Texas at the end of last week IIRC. Haven't heard from Toronto, but I do know someone that was given an offer. Texas. I feel a little embarrassed about my outburst, but I don't like to delete things. They are apparently making their way through the waitlist.

vega maudlin Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Is he/she still deliberating? No, she took the offer. That said, I don't know how many they accept/year.
coffeekid Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Just turned down a life of job security and good pay in clinical psychology for Vanderbilt's PhD in Religion, Psychology, and Culture. Happy discerning for the rest of you! 11Q13, Kuriakos, yhujikol and 5 others 8

Clare Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 To the person who was asking about interviews for BC earlier - I was accepted, and no they didn't do interviews, it just came as an email. Same thing with Georgetown's program in Theological and Religious Studies, a direct letter from the director of grad studies. that surprised me since i had assumed all of the schools have interview weekends but apparently not.
Hanserific Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I hope this helps: I did receive an offer with funding from Marquette (although it's partial: stipend only guarenteed for 3 years, and tuition covered for up to 36 credit hours, plus dissertation [12 credits] - which leaves me to fund 12 credits out of my own pocket [about 13,000$?] ). This was a bit confusing... Did anyone else get a similar offer? I do plan on accepting the offer if one other school doesn't come through. My program is JCA, btw. I know this is frustrating for a lot of folks looking at Marquette. My heart goes out to you! All the best!!
therealhogwarts Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Hanserific, I think you posted on the wrong thread. This is last year's thread for PhD applications in Religion.
