wrappedupinbooks Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I got mail (bad news) from U New Hampshire on Monday. Hope you heard something good!
halfpint Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 An acquaintance was accepted with I believe a tuition waiver. Not sure of what funding he received. I believe this happened last week.
Cayg118 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I received an acceptance email, but no funding. Anyone considering attending UNH and want to discuss the pros and cons?
JackieW Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I got into the MA program at UNH about a month ago--- and I'm "waitlisted" for funding, whatever that means. Even if I don't get funding I might go (either there or URI, most likely) because I at least get cheaper tuition because I'm a NE resident. Anyone going to the admitted students day on April 2nd? I am!
MinniePup Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I applied to the PhD program at UNH and haven't heard anything. Are those of you have heard one way or the other PhD or MA applicants? Also, did your online status change? Thanks for the info! And congrats to those who have heard positive news!

I am! I'm going on April 2nd too! & I also was accepted to URI (again without funding). I really like UNH because of their rhet/comp PhD program, so it's still my first choice (as of yet) despite the funding issue. --Caitlin

I suppose I will see you there on Friday! ---Jackie
Cayg118 Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Hi Caitlin! Were you accepted to PhD or MA? (PhD, I assume?). I suppose I will see you there on Friday! ---Jackie MA for Literature, actually. But composition has always been a big interest for me, so I'd like to go on at UNH to their PhD program. See you on the second!
MinniePup Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I just found out that I'm on the waitlist for UNH's English PhD program. If anyone here was admitted, I'd love to hear whether you plan to accept or not either in this forum or via private message. Apparently they only accepted two people, so congrats!
pomoisdead Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 A bump 3 years in the making...any other UNH 2013 applicants? I was told we'd be hearing in the next 8 days.
katherinekats Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 About a week and a half ago, I got a two line email with an attachment for directions/instructions for visiting day--nothing else. Three days ago, I finally received an official admissions decisions. I was accepted but was told that decisions re funding wouldn't be made for a few more weeks, and that they'd be in touch with more info. Are they planning to wait until after 4/15 to give me funding info? Why would I ever commit without that info ahead of time?
Ategenos Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 I got my acceptance to the PhD program and info regarding my TAship last week... but am attending elsewhere (so let them know on Monday). Were you just for the MA?
