Who has to wait until March?

ME!  I have to wait until end of March.  My first choice master's program had a huge application window (Nov - Feb 1), and they claim all decisions will be made by April 10!  oh joy of joys.  Then they have list line in the app packet that says, "Some students may be notified before the deadline."  Really?  Really?!?!  I called and talked to my friend who graduated from this same program years ago, and she said don't expect anything soon, they are very slow.....

Me too. I can't believe that there are threads here asking about putting off schools who want a decision already! One of my programs doesn't seem to make decisions until the end of March.

Yeah, I'm jealous of people who have already received accepts/rejects.

 

Most of the programs I applied to in January, so it's going to be a LONG WAIT

I just received an e-mail from South Carolina letting me know that decisions will be made in mid-March, and we will be notified via USPS. This is going to be the longest wait ever.

March isn't so bad! A couple of the places I've applied to send their decisions through in early April! And Harvard apparently sends their decision by post. I really hope they allow extra time for international applicants - although I have a feeling it won't matter either way, since the Royal Mail will probably lose the letter.

 

I applied at the beginning of October too...will be glad when this is all over!

The programs I applied to (based on the results) notified past applicants in the 2nd week of March. Hopefully I'll hear sooner though.

I believe my wait is till March as well. However I constantly entertain the fantasy that they will get to me sooner.

One of my programs has sent notifications between the 10th-15th of February in years past... Out of curiosity I called and was told it might be the beginning of March before anything comes out this time.

Me! Possibly even later since it looks like one of my programs keeps everyone who isn't accepted in the first-round hanging until early April.

Yes, and still no word. The MSW program I'm waiting to hear from was on spring break this week. So maybe next week? Here's hoping lots of us start to get answers soon!
