valkener
Hi, Just wondering if anyone can recommend Kaplan Q Bank or not. I heard generally Kaplan is easier than ETS questions? I have 4 weeks to improve my math, got a 155 and want to get a 165. I burned through a lot of my questions already and want to do tons of questions. Probably also getting Manhatten 5 LB. Thanks! Imago
If your only goal is to improve your quant score, then I believe you should stick with the Manhattan 5lb. I heard Kaplan's math is dumbed down compared to the real GRE. Barron's GRE guide has some good math, if you want to supplement your materials. Kaplan's good for someone trying to review and practice the basics. If you're trying to push your Q score to the next level, it's not going to help much. phmhjh85
avoid Kaplan like the plague . Manhattan for Math is way better. More Variety in difficulty and Challenge. Also the ETS OG is indispensible in terms of question types not strategy Try to Practice with time. IMHO the biggest Challenge in GRE math is time management . Manhattan is the best for quant, but I Kaplan is not that bad. It is just not worth it when you have better options. Only consider Kaplan if you want to diversify your question bank and have gone thru all the questions in Manhattan's q-bank.
