Have many people applied to NYU Wagner on or before January 15th and still have not heard back? Do you know if we will recieve a letter or an e-mail?

I havent heard anything either. Im not taking that as a very good sign. But you never know. grad school admissions work in mysterious ways.

*sigh*

Tell me about it! Did the people you know who have heard back get an e-mail or a letter? I don't even know what to expect!

I'm in the same boat - and also started panicking when I saw how many people heard last week. So, I caved and called the admission office to ask about their notification timeline, and the woman I spoke to indicated that they're working on a rolling system and will continue to notify people through early April. The good news is that it sounds like not having heard yet doesn't mean anything negative, but the bad news is that we all have to keep waiting...

Anyone have any additional info?

I emailed Wagner, and they wrote back saying this:

"We appreciate your interest in NYU Wagner. The review committee is currently in the process of assessing the status of our prospective applicants. You will be notified of your status as the committee reaches the decision by March 31st or approximately 8

I already wrote this within the government affairs section, but to those who have yet to hear of anything from NYU...

I got in contact with one of the staff members at Wagner, and this is what she said:

"Thanks for your email. I am not privy to information about your application but I know that you will get an answer from admissions by the end of this month. I just checked with them about the timeline to confirm and you are in the group that will receive a reply by March 31!"

So, I guess we'll just have to stick around and wait. But it's nice to know my application hasn't been lost...

I received my acceptance via email today at 2:20 pm. Applied on 1/15. "Your formal offer letter of admission will be mailed to you shortly."

i just heard today as well, via email, said official letter will be mailed shortly...

does anyone know by when we have to officially accept the offer? the deadline?

Some of you have already been accepted to Wagner??? I applied complete for the Jan.15th deadline and still no answer....should I take that to mean a rejection??

Some of you have mentioned a "results page" where / what is that?

I have another question regarding Wagner...

It turns out I'm finishing my undergrad in 3 years instead of 4. However, my school didn't tell me until December that I was graduating early so I didn't have time to take the GRE before applying to Wagner. My major GPA is a 4.0 and my cumulative GPA is a 3.88. I applied for the jan 15th deadline, still nothing back...is it because i didn't take the GRE?? Did anyone else out there not take the GRE? It said it wasn't required but...

I'm so nervous.
