ToomuchLes
Do your letter of rec need to come from professors relating to your disciplinary, or just your major? For example, my research focus is on the Antebellum America, therefore would be detrimental to ask, say, a professor who teaches early modern Europe? rising_star
Depends. Is it a did well in class type letter or one that will address your academic potential? If it's the latter, it doesn't really matter who writes it.
Lisa44201
Not necessarily. I had a Criminal Justice prof as a letter writer because we did extensive research together, so he was the person who could speak the most extensively about my abilities in statistics & data analysis.
