uncgrad2009 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I'M IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!
pavlik Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Rejected! I'm not too butthurt about it. 'Grats to all admitted students
quincepessa Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 I'm out. Congrats to all who were accepted.
kingofthehill110 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Rejected, not too surprised but was holding out some hope. Congrats to all who got admitted.
samiam Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I'm in!!!! Really didn't expect this. My commiserations to those who didn't get in - I really hope that you find a great place somewhere. Email says "The details of your admission offer will be forthcoming by the end of next week", which I presume will include funding info.
Santino Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I'm in too!!! I am utterly shocked, particularly after I was rejected by HKS.
seiryu Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Omg. I got in................ I was totally expecting a rejection from WWS! Beyond thrilled and shocked... and still in disbelief gradytripp 1
CityofSand Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Hooray! I was admitted, too! Now comes the most difficult (and unexpected) portion of the pre-grad school process, choosing between amazing options.
seiryu Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Is it true that WWS funds all of its admitted students? I wouldn't be able to attend without full scholarship and stipend
samiam Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 They claim to fully fund all MPP students (full tuition and stipend) who don't have an external scholarship, and that 90 per cent of all MPA students get some financial assistance: http://wws.princeton.edu/admissions/mpa/financial-aid http://wws.princeton.edu/admissions/mpp/financial-aid I've never heard anything that refutes that. seiryu 1
linkth Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Hey guys. I just got an email with an ID and details regarding my admission offer!
Santino Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Same here! My decision was just made very, very easy!
MMM2015 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Does WWS reimburse for airfare and/or hotel accommodations if we attend the Hosting Program? I don't mean to sound greedy, but some other programs I was admitted to reimburse for the visit weekend, so I am just curious. Thank in advance!
tryingsmall Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Hey did you guys get a stipend in addition to the full tuition & healthcare (approx $44)?
MMM2015 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Hey did you guys get a stipend in addition to the full tuition & healthcare (approx $44)? I got full tuition & healthcare plus a small living stipend.
tryingsmall Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 It's crazy that we have to wait for HKS until the first week of April. Ive already heard about funding from all the other schools I applied to (SIPA, SAIS, WWS).
Gov2School Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 That's Harvard for you, they're doing all things in their own time.
seiryu Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 for those of you who have gotten the admission packet, did you get it in a separate email from the one sent by OIT? or did it came together? I only received one email from OIT to set up my PUaccess so far..
samiam Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Once you've set up your computer ID, go back to the email you got from Princeton notifying you of admission. There's a link in that email to view your offer.
bktz Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Hey did you guys get a stipend in addition to the full tuition & healthcare (approx $44)? Yep, stipend that ought to cover living expenses, if I live frugally...
