agradwithaquestion Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I recently was accepted into a graduate program and was told to contact the program about my acceptance. I know that for most schools, you contact the program and you also generally fill out a form online (saying yes, I accept) or at least send in a letter. I feel weird just saying yes and then not doing anything else. Is this normal? Am I missing something or has anyone else also had this experience?
Eigen Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Two of mine were just "let us know if you accept" things. I was worried and double checked both places to see if I needed to sign or anything else. One was fine with just a phone call saying I accepted. agradwithaquestion 1
microarray Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 (edited) I accepted to the department then they recommended me to the grad school. A week later I heard from the grad school and they had me officially accept through an online form. A few days later, I got my school email address, etc. Edited March 30, 2014 by microarray
DeafAudi Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Yup! I emailed back asking if I needed to send it by letter and they said no.
maelia8 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I was told to email them AND submit the online form, probably to account for mistakes in submission of the online form
