pickMe Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Ha, I started a very similar thread in a different part of the forum exactly 30 minutes before you started this topic I'll be headed to GA State this fall. Initially, it wasn't my first choice, but it has turned out to be the best choice in the end. I'm thrilled to have been accepted and am looking forward to starting. I'm already in the Atlanta area but will be looking to move closer in town. Where are you coming from? What program will you be in? easybreezy 1

I'm already in the Atlanta area but will be looking to move closer in town. Where are you coming from? What program will you be in? I'm feeling the same way! It's going to be a big change for me, though - I'm coming from the midwest, currently living in Madison, Wisconsin. I'll be in the joint Neuropsychology & Behavioral Neuroscience-Clinical Psychology program. You're doing SLP?
pickMe Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Yes, I'm headed into the 3 year track for SLP. It'll be a big change for me, but I'm excited about it. I've never been to Wisconsin, but I can imagine this will definitely be different for you. I think you'll like it, though. Most people are pretty nice, and there's always tons to do in the area. We're also not too terribly far from the beach or the mountains. I just am not a fan of the summers. I grew up in Louisiana, so you'd think I could handle the heat, but I'm not a happy person when the temperature gets up in the 90s. Anyway, welcome to the South this Fall! Let me know if you have any questions, I've lived here for over 8 years.
Academics Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I will be coming to Atlanta this fall for a Master's Program in Chemistry...
Johndg2 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I just posted a similar topic, I'll be starting PhD in the Mol Genetics and Biochem, good luck everyone!
