One acceptance (without funding) out of about 9 carefully targeted applications for Fall 2011, 2014, 2015 starts. I have done a lot more this year, most of it pro bono internship work so maybe that will count for something.

I can take some rejection but I cannot stand not knowing exactly where I failed. Would it be too much to ask for applications to be scored on a basic rubric or metric and the results reported to the applicant?

I'm not sure how many more times I need to apply before applying again is just throwing money away and engaging insanity.
