UNICEF NETI Program Notifications?

well, we're only five here for this year's programme so not sure that's a high enough number for any calculations. sorry for not being too positive - i do think the selection is probably far from over, so we should stay positive and wait a bit longer

No news here either. While they might have contact @erpayo references (Congrats for that), remember officially the last part of the process is the interview: They might not event contact references in the whole process for everyone. We are to wait for the final response on the last week of December, let's not rush into any conclusions and keep a good vibe.

Yes, I also got it. But that’s nothing to do with NETI. I think our emails are now on their newsletter/job offers email lists.

separate random question: do you happen to have any insights into whether unicef hires outsiders for P4-level positions? outsiders as in candidates that obviously would be considered fit for the job but with no unicef experience.

Though it’s just @erpayo who got his reference check and still he didn’t get any signal from NETI. I’m afraid they’ll notify us next week and ruin our xmas break! Hehehe

Hi all, 

Thanks for sharing the updates here as they have been very helpful to me personally. I applied to NETI's communication specialist track in early August, and 3 of my references have received the instruction to fill out the reference check form on November 28th. And then for some reason, they called two of my references again just two days ago to ask more questions. My ex boss said that it seems like they are close to making decisions. Let's keep the hope up and I wish we all receive some good news soon!

so we can start thinking about the odds that next year they open up a comms track again. i certainly hope so!

Hi all, 

I have received the result of my final interview from NETI, and am now being assigned to the P3 communication's talent pool. My online portal's status has also been updated to "assigned to talent pool." Maybe you all can check your portal to see if the status has been updated or not. The waiting game is still on though, as many of those who have gone through the same process last year are still not being offered a position.
