hopefulspeechie16 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I'd really like to go to grad school in california, but Vanderbilt in Tennessee has a great program. So I just wanted to know how difficult it is to transfer to a different state after completing grad school in another one? When you graduate are you licensed for that state or can you choose where to do your cfy and get your license?
twinguy7 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 You can choose where to do your CFY and your license and if you move to another state I'm pretty sure you just pay fees to get licensed in that state if already licensed.
CBG321 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I was wondering the exact same thing! I know California is much more strict accross the board in terms of what they require to practice in schools for instance. I'm curious what classes or certifications that other states might not have that California requires . It's good to know we can file and do the CFY anywhere, I was also wondering how difficult it is to gather those connections having been gone a couple years in another program. All things to think about!
