rachrose Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Hi all! Good luck to everyone on their admissions process and congratulations to all who have heard great news! I'm reaching out to see if anyone has any recommendations for an online statistics course to fulfill the MSW requirement. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! All the best.
asdghasdghsjdgas Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 if your nearest city has a community college that offers online courses, i recommend taking that route. i also get the feeling that each program has a different standard for what credits they will accept/how well you need to do in the course. for example, i am applying for UW and Columbia and while UW only requires that you obtain a statistics credit (D for diploma basically), Columbia requires that you make a B or better. i would imagine that the same principle would apply for the types of credits that each program will count toward your requirement. i hope that helped a little bit!!!

MermaidturnedMSW Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I'm just taking it at a local community college. =]
esp.msw Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 You are a brave soul taking an online stats class! I commend you lol.
amers Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I also took my stats class online at community college. This will most likely be your cheapest option, and I don't think most programs care about where you did the class as long as it's on your transcript with a decent grade. Good luck, I hated stats lol.
