Boston Programs 2015

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else deciding between several of the Boston programs? I'm having a hard time deciding between BU, Emerson and MGH. It seems like they are all very well-regarded programs with some minor differences. If anyone can share a little bit about how they've made their decision, I'd appreciate any shared insight!

I'm between two Boston programs -BU and Emerson. I got into MGH but have ruled it out because it's much more expensive. I still haven't heard from Northeastern. Are you going to any open houses?

I think I'm picking Emerson.

I've heard the clinical situation at both is comparable. BU is more equipped for research. Emerson is more pediatric oriented. So Im gonna pick Emerson. Plus, the entire small college, friendly supportive environment wins for me!

I'm having a hard time with MGH and Emerson. I got a fellowship at Emerson and the fact that it is a small, supportive community is a big plus. But I'm interested in working in a medical setting, so I feel like MGH might be a better choice. I'm probably going to the open houses, so if any of you are going I'll see you there!

I just got offered a hefty scholarship at MGH, which made my decision a lot harder than it had been (I'd been pretty much sure I was going to go with Emerson). I got a really good feeling when I interviewed at Emerson, and I haven't visited MGH yet, so I'll have to see how I feel at the open house...

I'm between MGH and Emerson. I always said that if I got in I would go to MGH but now looking at the cost I am having major second thoughts. Emerson gave me a fellowship and it is such a great program - really enjoyed the supportive environment. Either way we will all get a great education at any of the Boston schools I think!
