Haven't heard anything from admitted program yet???

I accepted my offer of admission to Western Michigan University, but haven't heard anything back from them except a letter in the mail with my new email address & to register it. All my friends have heard back from their schools regarding their cohorts, information, and even information about housing. Am I just being impatient because I accepted so early, or does anyone know if WMU takes a while to send things out? Has everyone else heard information from their program already if they accepted early April?

 

Also, not on the topic, but if anyone has any info about WMU's program from a student perspective, that'd be great! I visited it & loved the program, but any other info would be awesome! I don't know a single soul that goes there or is planning to attend.

I think some schools like to wait until their full cohort is complete before sending out info, etc.  I emailed GVSU last april when I got accepted about further information and they let me know it wouldn't be until like June that we'd get all the info because of waitlists, etc.   

 

Also, I just did an externship with a student who just is graduating from Western in a couple weeks.  I will try and get his email address for you to ask him some questions.

I also haven't heard from my school yet. It makes me a little bonkers, because the deadline has passed and all my other opportunities are gone. But I think, like twin guy said, some schools just want to get their cohort straight before starting the next round of paperwork.

Same for me! I got my email set up information but haven't heard anything directly from the program and it's nerve-wracking! I met one person that is in their last year in the program and she said I won't even hear from them until summer right before registration! kill me now....

Same here, nothing from CSUEB yet. I plan to email with questions about dates on Wednesday, but they did mention they'll be in touch for advising "in the next few weeks" in the email. I can assume end of May.

Nothing from EWU either, one email that they told us that they were going to send things out after the month of April. There must be a reason for making us wait, even if it drives us a little crazy...

I've heard quite a bit from WMU, although the bulk of information should come out at the end of May. If you still haven't I'd give the office assistant Paula an email and ask her what's up. They may have just made a mistake with your email so make sure they have your correct email address.
