v_saro Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Hi all, I've been admitted to USC and Columbia...I applied to Columbia's online option because I live in LA and am not financially able to move to New York yet (you can switch to on-campus later if you want). I am SO TORN between the two. I'm planning on living in California eventually and while USC gives more scholarships I'm having a terrible time saying no to the Ivy....Does anyone out there have any input? Pretty please? Thanks!!!
virtua Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I guess the USC is much better in ranking, isn`t it? I have never heard of Columbia, while I heard a lot of positive stuff on USC, though I`m an international student, I mean I dont live in the US, so I might be wrong RCtheSS 1
dreamcatcher725 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 they're both fantastic schools. but if you intend to live in California in the future, you might as well get your training and license here too. Columbia has a beautiful campus and I'd recommend actually living in NY and doing your field work there if you choose it, although you said it's not feasible for you right now. with what you've said, it sounds like USC is where you should be. good luck!
