No I havnt heard anything yet. But from my research on this forum last year they sent out meet and greet emails at the beginning of march!

My Gpa for the last year is in the A/A+ range

Experience is paid employement for summer camps, before and after school program, and private school. I also dabbled in some volunteer work for Speech Language Pathology and an ASD center.

What schools are you applying to/have you applied to? I only applied to OISE... which is why I am so nervous. I applied to both the MT and the MA but I am really hoping for the MA. I had my interview at the beginning of February and haven't heard anything yet (though they have given some acceptances) so I am quite nervous. However, the atmosphere there was phenomenal. I thought my interview went well, but it was more so an open discussion. One thing I regret is not making it a point that this program is in no way a backup to Speech Language Pathology (which I also applied to and they are aware of)

You have such a good GPA!  I hope you hear from OISE, I mean you got an interview so even that is an accomplishment!  I unfortunately did not get an interview...and have accepted the fact that I will not get one.  It is upsetting because I thought I had a pretty good shot.  Thankfully I have other options for teacher education, though it will take me longer to add a Masters on top of that.. boo

Let us know if you hear anything.  Best of luck.

I have a quick question...did everyone here do honours? I did a regular B.A. because I thought I could still apply...but I may go back to do my honours now, as it may be preferable.

Yep! I actually did a double major in my teachable subjects and graduated with first class honours - while I don't think it's necessary, I don't think it hurts an application!!!

Hey! I did an honours degree but my friend who did a regular BA still got accepted to the MT but has not heard about MA yet after her interview.

I did my undergraduate degree in California we didnt necessarily have an honors system or we did but it was different.
But I was a double major or french and psychology and did a thesis in both those majors. And my average in French was A  and for Psychology was around B+.
Now masters of CHYS from Brock still finishing it up.
But I didnt apply to the MA.

On ROSI, it says I have been invited to the J/I division. I didn't get an invitation for I/S, so does that mean I'm not accepted in I/S? Or are they still reviewing applications?

My Rosi says financially cancelled for both programs I applied to which is weird. Any uoft student can clarify why I would have that?

It means you have been accepted for J/I, but not I/S

They have done their first round of admissions I believe! A whole bunch of us were notified around March 1st that our application status had changed through an email and on ROSI!

Hey! I called and asked about that because my husband's status said that too - it basically means that your offer is conditional, because your degree(s) are still in progress! But it still means you are accepted!

Yes last week I got an email regarding being recommended for admission (which basically means you are 99% in) and also an invitation to the meet & greet which is tomorrow. By the way, this is for MT only. For MA I got the same thing but the meet & greet is end of March.
