thebignc93 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Out of curiously, when should I start getting nervous that I haven't heard a single thing from any school? 4 of my applications were due on Jan 15th, the other 2 were on Feb.1 so I'm not worried about the latter yet obviously, but what about the other 4? I know it is still considered early for actual decisions, but to have heard absolutely nothing has me pretty concerned. Already refreshing the e-mail 95 times a day.

I have the same question with the bignc93. Actually, 2 of my applications were due 12/1. 7 were due 12/15. 1 app was due 1/8. Still hearing nothing except an email telling me that a decision will be made this week. Should I assume rejections for most of them? I would like to believe the admission committee is taking more time to review the applications for interantional students.

It's pretty common to not have heard anything at this point. Come March I'd be more curious, but February is the month that a lot of decisions seem to happen.
iloveOM Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) I really think it depends on school, although we belong to different field. My first interview: I submitted my application 1 day before the deadline (1/5), and they called me to interview 10 days later. Some schools with 1/15 deadline have offered me interview, while my current school, with the same deadline, hasn't even gathered the committee yet. So I think that your schools may belong to "slow reaction" batch. With regards to those reasoning above, I still do the same as you, refresh grad cafe and email like hell... rising_star Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Honestly, I wouldn't get nervous about anything before mid-March. They don't call it the Ides of March for nothing... emhopefulme 1
