Hi all,

I just found out that I am waitlisted at one of my top choices.

This is a program that invited a ton of prospectives for the interview, and offered admission to less than a half of the prospectives.

I know that they invited a few international students this year, and I was one of them.

I am wondering if the chances are different (due to factors such as funding) for international and domestic students.

Do you think the chances are lower for an international student to get off the waitlists than domestic students?

Would it work like, if they were to accept 5 students and 5 were waitlisted out of 30 people, they will only have one open position for international students and one is waitlisted?

Do you have any ideas? Please help... little devastated...

Thank you for reading!
