Bisola Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) Hello guys, Please, I have a question concerning applying to the Graduate Institute Geneva. I am currently undertaking my master's degree in International Law and Security MLitt (under the department of Political Science and International Relations), I have a strong background in International Relations and Diplomacy(undergraduate level). I would like to apply to the Graduate Institute ,Geneva next year for my Phd program in International Relations/ Political Science. My master's dissertation topic is currently on Boko Haram and how peace can be maintained in the Northern part of Nigeria, simply put, its a focus on terrorism. My Question regarding the application is this; Will my current master's degree (International Law and Security) serve as a hindrance in my application? I ask because it is strongly advised on the school's website on having a strong and grounded background in International Relations or Political Sciences generally when considering applying for a Phd. I really appreciate if someone with the right information would take time to give me a response. THANK YOU. Edited April 3, 2016 by Bisola
