Kate22192
Hi everyone, I'm currently taking classes at Utah State University online as a non-degree seeking student to hopefully apply for a Master's program this fall. My question is this: a few of the schools I'm applying to are asking for courses USU does not offer. Does anyone know an online program that allows you to take these as stand-alones? 1. Neurophysiology (or neuroscience, neuro bases of communication, etc) 2. Introduction to speech/language/hearing disorders (or communicative disorders).... (evidently USU's COMD 3120 does not count for this) 3. Introduction to Language Development (somehow COMD 2500 did not count for this for one school...) Thank you in advance! slptobe92
Longwood has all three of these courses! I've taken them all and loved the professors and found them really helpful. Here's the link to their SLPOnline program: http://www.longwood.edu/socialworkcsds/slponline.htm. It's really easy to register as a non-degree student, too. If you have questions feel free to ask! I'm about to finish up my pre-reqs there this summer.
Crimson Wife
Which school does not accept USU's COMD 2500???? I took an online Intro to CSD through the SLPA program at a community college. I don't know if it will count for your target school but it was dirt-cheap for me as a state resident. They don't have their fall schedule up yet but this is the spring semester course description: https://classes.deltacollege.edu/schedule/sections.cfm?term=30&year=201516®ion=INET&dept=COMM%20DIS&course=COMM%20DIS002
