beherenow Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) Hey all, I am planning on applying to clinical psych/neuropsych and perhaps also neuroscience PhD programs this fall. I really want to take advantage of the free time I'll have this January and February to travel, but obviously do not want it to conflict with any potential interviews. After some research I couldn't find a lot of the dates for this year's interview season (to make an educated guess about next year), so figured I would ask you guys. I'm especially interested in schools in CA (UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCSB, UCSC, UCSF, UCD, and USC), and also Oregon and Washington (UO and UW). So, what were the options for your interview dates this year, and for which school(s)? Because I'm not set on my list of programs yet, I'd be interested in hearing from anyone/everyone regardless of school! Thank you!! Edited May 8, 2016 by beherenow
KyloRen Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I went to this year's interview weekend for UCLA, and it was February 4th-6th. All of the other interview invites that I received were also for the same weekend, except for the University of Kentucky, which was the last weekend in January. I went to UW for undergrad, and from what I saw, the clinical psych interview weekend was usually in late February. I'm not 100% sure on that one though, because I didn't apply to UW for grad school. It seemed to me like early February was definitely the most popular interview time. Early January seemed a lot less popular, so I think you would be safer to travel then. I hope this helps a little!
