First round offers payment was due on June 1st, so I called June 2nd and was informed was I accepted. They said I'd had to make my deposit by June 16th so I'd call them on the 17th and ask for updates if you have not heard anything.

I have revoked my acceptance to Queen's MPH as I accepted Epi at UoT, and was just waiting to hear back confirmation of my acceptance. So a spot should open up for Queen's!

Hey for those of you attending Queens, I received an email from the Graduate Assistant today stating that the meet and greet will be taking place this Friday June 16th between the hours of 1:30-3:30 at Carruthers Hall on the 3rd floor.

You will be introduced to all the faculty, staff and other incoming students. Hoping to see some of you there!

This waitlist at Western is killing me. I'm so disappointed in how this cycle turned out.

Still holding on to hope though. For all my other waitlisters, hang in there!

Has anyone received rejections from Western yet? Also, do you guys know how big the program size is? I've heard people say they only take 30 students....which makes me a little nervous.

I feel you about the wait time, I am waiting as well  I called today and they said they would be providing updates within the next few weeks and that it will be by email. 

As for program size, the website indicates that each cohort is 60 students!

Anyone from any stream can apply to this. It is a collaborative program that is done alongside your specialization (ie. Epi, OEH, Nutrition). There are certain requirements that you have to meet in terms of courses you take or practicum placements you do. I was originally going to do this collaborative program but have decided on another.

They placed you on the waitlist in May?

I never received a single email from them since I applied in Jan. Though I applied to Epi.

Yup it was first week of May, and it was for Health Promo. Maybe Epi is different. Did you contact them about your status?
