SpeechLaedy Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Ugh. Yeah I had to walk 3 long Brooklyn blocks for my last interview in the rain. It was awful and my feet hurt like crazy. I say flats if you have to walk a good portion of the way (unless you're one of those that aren't phased by prolonged time in heels)
jmk Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 On Friday it's supposed to snow in Portland! I've been to the snow a few times...but never been in actively snowing snow?? The few times I went to the snow I was wearing skiing clothes and a snowsuit. Not sure how this will play into my outfit. Layers??

I'm actually staying with a friend in Portland! Meanwhile, I think you made the far better choice- with the snow, I'm not sure how I'm going to get from Portland to the interview! The initial plan was for me to borrow my friend's car, but I don't feel comfortable driving her car in any form of snow due to my lack of experience. I'll probably Lyft- which is going to be expensive.

Layers?? I would definitely do a cute sweater with a collared shirt underneath sticking out or something like that jmk 1
