Got a completely unexpected offer from Carnegie Mellon today! (I interviewed just last night). 

Going into this application season I was mentally preparing myself to not get in anywhere. Getting two acceptances (Boston University and Carnegie Mellon) was a huge surprise. I am so excited to get this next chapter of my life started!

USC is such a joke. I was supposed to have an interview today, waited 15 minutes and the host never showed up. No notice, no obvious email address to write to.

I already accepted at another school but took the interview out of curiosity. I think we should all get our money back for the application fee at this point.

Hi!! Is anyone else applying for fall26? Doesn't look like anyone has posted anything on the results page yet but curious if anyone has any insight on timeline anywhere? 

I only applied to northwestern, yale, and brown (super into what I know about each program + finances) but as I'm looking back through here, I'm learning that they tend have very different timelines each year

I'm excited to be here with all of you!! fingers very crossed for everyone

heyo! fellow applicant for Fall '26 here! applied to a few different programs, including yale, but also lost on timeline for that or any of the ones I applied to 🫠 everything on here suggests something could be heard in late Feb / early March, but TBD I guess! heard Brooklyn College doesn't do interviews but that's the extent of the gossip I got

fingers crossed that one of us gets at least a yale interview ❤️

I applied to UT Austin Michener, Yale, and Northwestern. 

On 1/23 I got an interview request from UT Austin. 

On 1/26. I got an interview request from Northwestern. 

I haven't heard anything from Yale yet. 

My UT Austin interview is later today!!

On the MFA notification drafts facebook group, someone got a UT interview 2/9. So ya never know.

Hey, y'all! I'm really late to thegradcafe, but I've been in the MFA draft group on FB, and I applied to 13 programs this round, including some of the big ones already mentioned like Yale, Brown, Northwestern, etc. I got accepted into University of Idaho and UC Riverside so far, and am very grateful for both, but the wait definitely sucks. Haven't heard anything negative or positive from anyone else. 

 

I'd be interested in joining a gc, if people are still doing that! The link is saying it's expired.
