I was wondering if anyone has gotten a reply on being shortlisted for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship for international students?

Someone on the The Student Room forum has asked the foundation and received the answer that interview invitations will begin to be sent from next week! Until approx. mid March.

Hi guys, I emailed my department and asked them whether they have shortlisted the applicants and they replied that they have, but didn't explicitly say things like 'we have put you forward for the gates cambridge scholarship', etc. Here is the email:

I fully understand your impatience, but I am afraid I am unable to 
provide any information. Yes, we have shortlisted the Gates candidates, 
but after that, we have no insight in the process. In my experience, the 
candidates are informed some time in March.

I am not sure whether it means I am shortlisted or not, I think they might have implied that during the interview, but again I didn't get a written email regarding this issue or my interview outcome. But I guess the gates interviews may be sent out, starting next week.

p.s I got my offer in early January and I am an international applicant

Good to read that! Someone from social sciences received an email this morning so I figured I was not shortlisted... but maybe there's still hope until mid March then
