I know that is it is bad to round your GPA up, however is that only if you are rounding to the tenth place? Ex. my GPA is a 3.857, is it ok for me to round to a 3.86 on my resume? There are other schools who use 3 places after the decimal so whether or not it's common really shouldn't be an issue. I have worked in an undergrad career office and have heard of someone having a job offer revoked because they rounded their GPA up (pretty sure it was rounded more than you're asking about, but it's just the principle and you shouldn't take the chance).
