A friend just announced that everyone she knows got into my top choice. Knowing full well that I haven't heard back from them. Welp, now I feel like shit.

It was awful/hilarious, I saw the POIs name in my inbox and I was SO confused, since I'd already been rejected, and for a split second I was like... did they change their minds or something? But I opened it and was even more confused because it was an exchange of emails about the POIs life and students, with some pretty horrifically hilarious cynical not-quite-PC opinions, and I couldn't figure out why I had gotten it. Judging from the content, I think it was supposed to be cc'ed to someone whose last name starts with the same three letters as mine, and it must have autofilled my email instead of the right persons... I don't know if I should just ignore it or let the POI know I accidentally got it????? THIS IS SO AWKWARD AND ALSO DID I MENTION MY LAST INTERACTION WITH THIS POI WAS AN EMAIL TELLING ME I WAS REJECTED BECAUSE THAT MAKES THIS MORE AWKWARD.

On a related note, to the person who posted that they contacted the HEB head about admissions: did they say they already contacted all three admits? Because that would be utterly disappointing.

sje, I asked my POI about dress code (I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same interview weekend ) and they said it's fairly laid back, most people come in slacks and a button down (no tie). Basically avoid jeans but definitely not a suit.

Although, a rejection popped up on the results search today... I was actually surprised since previous years all rejections have come considerably later, and by mail. Do you think this means acceptances will come soon????

Well, shit... That's no fun. I applied to NYCEP under CUNY, but I suspect they've all got shortlists. Oh well. Bad luck for me this season

I had the best/worst dream ever, where I was totally a student at my top choice and just going about life as usual and I also had the world's most adorable dog. It was the worst dream ever because way to tempt me with things I have no idea whether I'll get or not, scumbag brain.
