Hi. So, I had an interview to my dream school three hours ago. It went ok, but not as good as my previous two. Had 6 people interviewing me - wasn't expecting that. Got asked a question that threw me...I'm wondering if I can respond to this question via email to the person directly, even though the interview is over. They did mention I could contact them regarding any questions I had about the program. Is it tacky to admit that you cocked up the question in the interview, but can give them an answer now without the pressure?

Received two interview invites over the weekend, one of which was from the dream school!! I have to share that my GRE scores were awfully low and I wrote the wrong SCHOOL halfway in my application, because I was doing two apps on the same day. I was DISTRAUGHT when I realized...but quickly contacted the department to let them know of the mistake. I had almost given up hope until this weekend! I'm praying that the interview will not be in vain! All things are possible!! Be encouraged.

You are all very much right...we have to be positive! No news is just no news...until it's good news - or news that we have to deal with accordingly. It's almost February!!!

Thank you mimi03 and Eager! I called...but no luck really. The adminstrator said they'll be notifying till April - so I will just have to wait for a formal notification.....via post. (AND I'm International - so it'll take ages before it reaches here!!)

Hi everyone! I need some advice :-S So, I had a great visit with one of my schools - before the application was due - and things were looking promising. The application was due Dec 1st...and I haven't heard a peep since. I've now seen from the results search that one person was notified back in December - so the question is...is it a good idea to call the admissions office - and what's a good excuse to use?

Just read in the Results section that someone's heard back from Cornell and Maryland (I'm guessing the same person) - which are two of the schools I applied to. I haven't heard a peep. Safe to say...I'm officially in panic mode. For Maryland especially...I really wanted to be in DC!!

Wouldn't it be funny if they could see how many times we've refreshed/logged into our applications online?

I'd love to hear back from a school this week...just one Lord...I just need one.

Nothing from AU yet I'm afraid...and judging from past years it's still going to be quiet till the end of February. I know Cornell notify quite early...so we may start hearing back from them this week. :-S How are you all feeling?

I saw that someone heard back from Cornell on the results search...has anyone else? NOW I'm nervous.
