  1. Congrats to all the winners!
  2. How do you know that she is the director of the GRFP program?
  3. But why did the 2013 results reappear? Was that significant?
  4. I think it was below the banner that says "Honorary Awards | Graduate..."
  5. @spaceimmunology: Awesome! Let me know if you have any questions
  6. Definitely talk to your lab head (granted you trust his/her opinion). Also, graduate students and postdocs in your lab can be very helpful since they probably went through it recently. For my application essays (which some schools do actually consider an important component of the application), I had a lot of help from people from a college writing center, which actually helped immensely.
  7. @livinlite & ion_exchanger: Thanks guys! Where are you going to go livinlite? @MicroB2012 & porge1991: Yeah, I'll probably see you guys around next year @biotinman: At Rockefeller, they give you higher priority for when they assign housing if you commit earlier.
  8. I committed to Rockefeller this morning! I am really excited! It was definitely a difficult decision, and it came down to Rockefeller, Harvard, UCSF, and MIT in the end, but Rockefeller is really the best program for me.
  9. I spoke with my mentors and advisors today and yesterday, and I am about 90% confident about one program, but I will post my final decision (along with my top three choices) in a couple of days (I want to be 100% sure that I am making the right choice for me). Congrats to everyone who already committed! It sounds like you all are going to have a great time in grad school!
  10. Congrats, ion_exchanger! I'm planning on committing to a program this weekend. I'm ready for this process to be finished, though it was a lot of fun.
  11. @super: I'd definitely go to a place where there are many labs I'd want to work in.
