i dont think SD will have a huge problem, its just a day different. but contact them sooner rather than later!

I think thats a good amount of preparation. Maybe more or less depending on your interest in their work. Is anyone who's going to UCSD staying for saturday? I'm super excited about the list of activities they sent out!

just put this over on college confidential, but a prof. told me that around 80% of interview-ees at UNC BBSP get accepted!

A question for people- if you have done past research in areas you don't see yourself continuing in, when you are interviewing, should you get this sentiment across or should you be equally enthusiastic about all the research you have done? I love the work and the lab, but really couldn't see myself continuing to do this type of work. In fact, it is pretty different from what I want to do...

Apparently I'm the only person needing an alternate interview at duke...woops, sucks I won't meet any applicants!

Does anyone feel super nervous about not knowing enough for the interviews? I hope some more impressive questions come to mind to ask professors when the time actually comes, cause at the moment I just have stupid questions and sheer awe

^^agree. More then likely they will help you out. My PI advised me to reschedule my second choice. The school was very nice about it, I wouldn't worry too much. Although the sooner you let them know the better!!

I have heard back from Columbia, Duke and Vanderbilt, although on most of my apps I am not sure if there was a place to specify my interest in computational neuro. It was what I talked about in my sop and what not though. What specific computational tracks did u apply to
