Hi there, I know my post has nothing to do with admissions or applications. Anyway, my husband needs to find web access to historical records of US Congress for his PhD. Online database offers records back to 1989 or so and the period from 1919 to 1945 is missing. He needs to access congress debates on important issues (such as WW II) at that time and we have no clue. And we're not in the US , yet, so that we can visit the library of congress. Do any of you have ideas? Thanks guys

This is my second round, but I know that last year I was not qualified at all. I didn't have my MA degree and my writing sample sucked. This year I did much better and many people liked my PS and writing sample, but I only applied to 3 schools and I think that most good schools have early deadlines. Anyway, I guess I should wait and see what happens. Thanks for your reply and congrats for your first acceptance

Hi everyone, I was thinking about schools that have spring admissions for phd in Eng lit. or comp. lit? Does anyone know any? Do you also know if they offer same funding as Fall admissions? I don't feel like I'll get any acceptances for next Fall, so I thought I don't want to wait another whole year to apply. Thanks

Hi, I got 380 in the quantitative part and 490 in the verbal, how do you rate my score? Is this good enough to get admitted? My toefl is 101. I'm applying to Utexas at Austin, U of Pennsylvania and Northeastern University.
