Any word from SFSU Social Work program? They are the only school I haven't heard back form, and I applied November 2012 =P I already made my choice to go to University of Michigan, but just want everything to be settled. They are taking a longggg time!

UW denial. Congrats to all of those that got in! I'm still planning on attending University of Michigan in the fall. I'll be moving in June (I just scoped out apartments there so if anyone has any questions about where to live in Ann Arbor, I have a bit of an idea!)

I got that email too. Very annoying! And now the waiting game continues (Also, I know I'm already going to U of Michigan, so the decision for me I want to come asap so I can give someone else my spot)

I was wondering what people were thinking to finance this MSW adventure...what kind of jobs will you be applying to? I'm thinking about being a graduate student instructor (TA) but I'm unsure if I'll be able to make the time commitment. Thoughts?

Okay I weirdly got an email soon after I posted this saying I didn't get the career services gssa position. I'm still waiting to hear back from student services gssa position. Has anyone yet? Thanks!

I got into University of Michigan 1/30, and applied to their GSSA job program. Has anyone heard back that they've gotten an interview yet? They said it should be sometime in mid to late February...

I just got accepted to University of Michigan for MSW for Fall '13!!! Very excited! It does not say on the website yet, but I got an informal email from the Assistant Dean of Student Services. I think my heart stopped <3 Good luck to everyone!

Hi Kim! Just attended the virtual info session for UMich, and it was pretty helpful! I think they are posting the chat content soon on the facebook page? Hopefully we'll know by March 1st! I have a special case so I think I'm going to call Student Services to see if I'll be able to find out by then too good luck and keep me posted!

Has anyone heard from University of Michigan? So anxious!

So anxious to hear my status for Fall 2013, that I've read this entire forum...twice =P I applied 10/31, but I got an email saying 1/7 saying that they will "postpone the final action on the application until later in the Spring pending review of additional applicants..." I believe I got this email because there was questions about one of my recommendation letter's content, which has since been cleared up between the writer and the school. Here's to hoping for sooner rather than later

callyw22, Hi! Sorry I accidentally gave you that green thumbs up thing (but that isn't a bad thing I suppose hehe. New to the website!) So I applied to Denver 10/23 and they mailed my acceptance letter 1/8. Hope that helps! Good luck!

michelle_ct, No not the problem at all actually! They informed me in due time and gave me all the proper information, but since I am now only focusing my attention on Michigan schools, I didn't want them to waste time looking at my apps when they could be looking at others. So I told them to withdraw it. USC was very nice about it though

New to the forum as well: I applied to: U of Michigan Eastern Michigan University UW USC SFSU ASU U of Denver Temple UConn So far, I've received offers from ASU and U of Denver, but I am really now looking into schools in Michigan since I'm moving there with my boyfriend who got into dental school at University of Michigan. For those curious about ASU, I got an email 1/18. U of Denver I got letter in the mail before I got email, but email received on 1/22 Temple & USC are a bust for me anyways, because the applications are (accidentally) incomplete. Mainly though, I'm very interested in hearing from people who have applied/go to University of Michigan and EMU. I did receive an email from University of Michigan that they might wait later to make a decision on me, rather than now (so not a no, yes or waitlist, just a decide later). They called my boss to talk about his recommendation. Apparently my boss accidentally made it seem that he didn't recommend me full-heartedly, but after a talk, they cleared that up, so hopefully this whole decision later will be cleared up too! Based on other forums I've read, a bunch of UM people here back in early February, right in time for GSSA interviews. Good luck everyone, the nerves have been driving me crazy for so long!
