Some sort of joint program between Université Catholique de Lyon and Institut Catholique de Paris in the late 40's to study with Henri de Lubac and Jean Daniélou would have been neat.

I was admitted to and am wondering what the experience is like for the YDS MAR Concentrated program. My concentrate is Theology. I would like to pursue the Historical Theology track. For those who have been through the program, how do you know which professor you have been admitted by? How closely do you work with that professor? How flexible is the course scheduling? Will Notre Dame really make us painstakingly wait another weekend?

I received the same exact email from Doreen Generoso with scholarship information. If you go to your admissions profile and open it, there should be a message under the heading "Status Update" that reads, "An update to your application was last posted March 15, 2013." Click "View Update" to read your official acceptance letter. Hope this helps.

For those who were accepted to the MARc program, did you receive an email or phone call from the POI once accepted?

Accepted to Yale MARc in Theology with 50% funding. Shocked and ecstatic.

Given your goal of ordination and active ministry, I think one of the most important factors will be the community of students and professors at the school you attend. You want a place where you will not only grow in knowledge, but also be nourished spiritually and encouraged in your calling to ministry. There is often a delicate balance between stellar academic prowess and fruitful environments for growth. Also given your intended future in ministry, you probably don't want to break the bank in loans for an M.Div. All that being said, your tentative list is a really good start. From what I have heard from friends at Duke, it seems to fit all the criteria you might be looking for and houses a wonderful community of students and faculty alike (though, it is a little pricey). I completely understand. I am continually abiding by the old adage, "No news is good news." Why the 22nd? Is this their latest deadline?

Congratulations! The person I spoke to said that if you haven't already been contacted about a full funding offer, you didn't get it. So, everyone else is stuck with the 22% standard funding for the M.T.S. Why is Duke so damn expensive?

I was told by a faculty member in the Theology department that if I hadn't heard anything from them by Friday I should let him know. So we should know by the end of the week.

I've heard nothing from them. Perhaps it's worth a call to the admissions department.

I thought for sure I would have heard something this week. But alas, nothing yet. Still waiting on Notre Dame, Duke, Yale, and Fordham. And Marquette funding information.
