Damn. Last year MTS results went out as early as March 3.

No. But, according to last year's results, people heard back as soon as the the 3rd. This coming week seems most likely.

Are we talking PhD and MTS results?

Why do you think it will be another couple of weeks? Last year's results for the Duke MTS came in between March 2 and March 8.

I was told the same thing, "the decision about financial aid in your case is still pending." I am wondering if they offered funding to their top students and are waiting to see who among them will accept and decline. At any rate, I am excited about and encouraged by the acceptance. Fingers crossed going forward. As best I can tell from last year's results submissions, most decisions were made and sent between now and next Friday. This could be a very good or very bad week.

Received an email from Marquette at 12:00 AM to notify me of acceptance to the M.A. program.

If I don't get in, I plan to start working and paying off student loans. I also plan to take French/German at a local community college and study (again) for the GRE to bolster my CV. And keep reading. And praying. All of this comes after the weeping of course.

Anyone else feeling like this might be the week for a lot of the MA//MAR/MTS programs?

I wonder, does this only apply to MDiv? I am waiting to hear about the MTS.

I spoke to a man in the Theology department on the phone. Supposedly the committee has already made their decisions and it's now up to the GSAS to send out the results.

I spoke with a gentleman in the Fordham theology department today. He said the admissions committee has made their decisions and has given them to the Graduate School Admissions office. He said the first week of March is when applicants are most likely to be notified. In other words, the names are just sitting in a file somewhere in NYC right now.

Having applied to all MTS and MA programs, I am currently bemoaning the month of February. The first week of March seems lightyears away. Anyone else becoming increasingly impatient?

How was _What Happened at Vatican II_? I've wanted to read that.

From what I hear, Hauerwas is retiring at the end of the year. Though that would be wicked cool. Personally, a PhD at Notre Dame under Brian Daley and/or Cyril O'Regan would be glorious.

Not sure what the timetable for the Duke MTS is, but I'm also waiting. From what I can tell most MTS/MA decisions are made after MDiv?

Hello fellow antsy applicants, I am wondering if anyone knows the protocol for various programs on financial aid and funding. Is there a separate application that must be filled out to be considered for funding by some schools? This seems to be the case at Yale Divinity. I applied to Marquette M.A., Yale M.A.R., Notre Dame M.T.S., Duke M.T.S., and Fordham M.A. All with concentration in Historical Theology, Theology, or History of Christianity. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
