  1. @EdPhDHopeful I applied to the CIS program and also haven't heard anything yet.
  2. @jmaroon just the person I was hoping would respond thanks for the info. Glad to know you landed at Harvard! @imagical last year notification went out on the third Thursday of January. That would be next week! I feel like I'm the best candidate I can be at this point. No regrets or what-ifs as far as the application is concerned. Fortunately I have been able to refrain from rehashing everything. Just trying to maintain balance during the waiting process. Other friends have gotten interviews for other programs, so I'm just sitting here as patiently as possible lol.
  3. Any guesses on when PhD interview emails might go out this year? Seems like some Penn folks are getting notification already.
  4. Ok thank you both! They just showed up.
  5. Hi everyone! I have a question about GRE verification for the PhD program (application through GSAS, not HGSE). Posters from previous years have said that they can tell when their GRE scores have been "verified." Is this the same for PhD apps? I cannot tell if mine have been received or not. For reference, Standardized Test Scores is bold in the applicant portal. Thanks in advance!
  6. I got into Columbia as well!! Now to decide between UNC and Columbia!!!
  7. I'll be going to UNC as well! That area of NC is wonderful... quirky, local area vibes mixed with other areas that are more commercial. Everyone is very friendly.
  8. I got my acceptance email yesterday to check my online account. This link was in the letter: http://gradschool.unc.edu/admissions/admittedstudents.html It let me set up my email, create my ONYEN, and log in to my student account where I could view financial aid. The financial aid was still pending review, but it let me estimate my need and gave a breakdown of estimated cost of attendance. The deadline that I was able to see through my acceptance letter online was April 15 with a $250 deposit.
  9. I was accepted on Valentine's Day. So I guess you could say UNC is the best Valentine I've ever had!
  10. I applied on the actual deadline day for early admission. My position in TFA necessitated that I receive a response as soon as possible, so thankfully they were nice enough to call me and let me know. They said funding letters should go out sometime this coming week, although I don't know if that's for all applicants. Maybe that means everyone who applied for the early decision will find out soon with award notification?? Not sure, but maybe!
  11. I was admitted to the MSW, and it's also my first choice! I called last week, and they told me that funding letters will go out this coming week. I'm not sure if that's for everyone or just me though...
  12. Just admitted to UNC-Chapel Hill!! Anyone else??
