      When I submitted to nature it took them about a month to get back to me, and then they have requested revisions. It still hasnt been rejected or turned into a publication yet, been about 3 months total. I think 6 months to a year is not uncalled for.

      Anywhere from a month to 7-8 months - it really depends on the journal, field, review process of that journal, and heap of political factors. Review papers tend to take less than rigorous science papers, though.
