  1. I believe WCU and Appalachian both have 3-year programs, but I would definitely double check. ECU allows students into their program with as few as 18 CSD course credits (so basically a minor). I don't know of others off the top of my head, but I'd recommend using ASHA's EdFind tool to assist you in finding schools. The program websites are (often) even better, and usually have information about 3-year programs, leveling years, etc. in an FAQ or similar page.
  2. Were you at accepted students weekend? I was, if you have any questions!
  3. Anyone planning on going to Columbia's admitted student weekend? I haven't heard back from anyone in my other thread.
  4. Hi all, Hopefully this is the appropriate forum to post this! I'm an alum of UNC and currently working at UNC in the psychology department before shipping off to grad school in late August. I have a co-worker who is trying to sublet her bedroom (in Carrboro) over the summer for two months, starting near the end of May. She's extremely flexible with the price and move-in time, and a really pleasant person. If you're interested or want more information, please PM me and I'll give you her contact information. Thanks!
  5. Are you visiting Columbia during accepted students weekend?
  6. I know how you feel, Tay. I had, up until now, pretty much committed to going to Columbia. The thought of NYC is a bit scary, though exciting at the same time... I even started looking at apartments and different neighborhoods, etc., when Emerson called to say they'd awarded me a $20,000 fellowship. So now, with the difference in tuition and the fellowship added in, I'd also save something like 30k overall. What was originally an easy decision has now become much more difficult! Of course, I don't mean to sound ungrateful and we should be very thankful to be in such a position. Still, I wish an obvious choice would present itself.
  7. No clue, Speech. Still don't have my packet. Maybe give them a call?
  8. Oh man, going to have to check my mail when I get home. I've all but completely decided to go with Columbia... but again, a $30,000 a year scholarship would certainly be a game changer.
  9. $30,000 a year? Yikes. That would certainly change my mind.
  10. I just booked my flight and snagged lodging for this weekend, but I was curious to see who else (if anyone) is attending Friday and/or Saturday's events?
  11. No luck, was rejected Oh well, Columbia it is!
  12. Another one just went up... so hopefully emails are still rolling. I can't lie, I'm starting to panic a bit.
  13. I think Cahurt just posted an acceptance on the board. At least, the stats match up!
