I have declined to three schools that I have been accepted to, withdrew from one waiting list and am waiting on two schools to open their spots up!! I mean I have a good school to turn back to if the other two waiting spots don't open up but still ... If possible, I would love to have my options before the 15th.....man o man

Alex0266! I am also an international student from South Korea! I have applied to schools with lower gre verbal score and writing score and I did not have too much problem getting into schools! I have been accepted to three good schools and two wait-listed. I still have not heard from three other schools but yea i think your chance should be higher than mine. take gre subject, it will broaden your choice for schools. i forgot to register for it so i was not able to apply to a lot of schools that i wanted to, especially ones in california. PM me if you want to know more!

I still havent heard from a bulk of schools. Uflorida uwashington uhawaii georgia state and nyu. I mean i know i wont be going to the uf uh and gsu for sure but the other two i just want to know before i make my final decision!!

are any of you in the program for US Ethnic literature and Post colonial studies??? I am like HHEoS, hanging onto OSU since I am on the wait list.... man o man.... I really want the spot.. although i think most of you in this forum are entering the program as PhD rather than MA/PhD. ....

I am from Seoul!! Do you have friends in Seoul? it's random but one of important reasons for me wanting a spot in OSU is because my best friend lives in Columbus, Ohio!
