You've been very patient, but I think it is time to contact them and find out what is going on. Congratulations femnotfem!
-
Hey Kelly, That isn't sounding good. What do you mean? Did you have some more communication with them?
-
I'm art, but it sounds like at least some of the time we will all be together.

Congratulations on that Rutgers acceptance rawbdee!

An earlier post (today) included an email from admissions at CalArts that said they were still processing some applications. If you haven't heard from them then your app is still under review. Good luck, hope you get some good news soon!

Not sure what they will ask for writing. No suit . Be comfortable...casual, but neat. I'd go with nice jeans or other casual pants or equivalent and a non-shleppy (neat, but not fancy) top. It kinda depends on what you are comfortable wearing.

No Bard for me . But that's ok, I figure they are in a better position to know whether it is the right place for me (given that all my info was gleaned from the internet). Congratulations haleyhemenway! Best of luck for the interview.

Hi Shaoceptual, thanks for the info. Just to clarify, ICP Bard and Bard (low res) are two different programs with (it seems) different timelines. Good luck with your interview tho.

Cool! No I don't know the numbers...I'm expecting something like a 3:1 ratio, but that's a pretty uninformed guess. PM me if you or anyone else who is going for that matter, would like to meet.

That's awesome! Is your interview day March 13th also?
-
Congrats to the person who posted the VCU fibre acceptance in the results!

"Someone posted a UBC acceptance on the results page, anyone own that? It is a little early for them and there is usually a Skype interview first..I have my doubts. It wouldn't be hard to verify." Ok, so I know who this is...its legit. And a little out of the ordinary. Yay though!

Don't read anything into the rescheduling. Just go in there with confidence and give it your best shot. We'll be rooting for you!

Congrats fairweather! Hope you get the funding you need and want. Also congrats mlk on the interview. Someone posted a UBC acceptance on the results page, anyone own that? It is a little early for them and there is usually a Skype interview first..I have my doubts. It wouldn't be hard to verify.

What are the comparative costs of either scenario including making changes? It could be worth it to bunch them even with the extra charge.

Also Echo_in_ground, and welcome!

Sorry to hear that Ariet. I hope your day improves, and that you get good news soon! Congrats on your interviews Didacticprinter, Yellow Magnet and Coreythegiraffe. Good luck!

Correct.

I haven't heard anything yet.

That's awesome, very exciting, congrats! According to last year's results, final acceptances were around March 10th-15th even when there were phone interviews. My impression is that getting an interview is a very good sign! As far as I've been able to ascertain, there is no evidence - at least on this forum anyway - of rejections after a phone interview with a faculty member. Fingers crossed, best of luck! Officially they don't, but faculty does sometimes (maybe often?) call.
-
Ahhh..well, good luck. Also thanks ismewilde and czarina.

Is that your interview Mustafa? If so congrats! If you don't mind my asking (tho I am not in graphic design), I'm interested nonetheless (and for the benefit of others)—and since it seems that you went through a round of applications last year and are having better success this year—in what you have done in the interim and to your application that has made a difference this time around.

It seems like last year people heard from UCLA somewhere between the 10th-15th of March (apart from phone calls from faculty). I don't know when people got interview (Skype) requests from USC, but the interviews themselves were around March 8th and rejections were reported around the 23rd. So not for a while yet.

I applied to the Program in Art. Photography may not have gone out yet. I hope you hear soon, good luck!

Thanks bad advice.
