Anyone here applied to Queen's experimental psych program and heard back yet?

Alright, that is what I thought but wanted to check what others were thinking. So let's say a POI replies that he/she is taking on students. What would you reply to him/her in that case? "Thank you"? Is this initial name just to get your name out there during the application session?

After initially contacting a POI inquiring whether they are accepting graduate students, what would be an ideal response (other than "Yes, I am")? Should there be some sort of discussion about possible research projects? Just trying to put a response into perspective as I am pretty unsure about how to interpret certain emails.

Got rejected from 2/3 schools I applied to today. Totally bummed out .

I hate that McGill is taking so long! This wait is awful.

I think they will start contacting candidates soon. They began reviewing applications a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks, Anan, for your post - I'll keep my head up. It's definitely not my top choice, but it'd be nice to know I at least got in somwhere.

I think it looks great! I like the way you stated your research interests and I was engaged throughout the entire statement. I also think we're applying to the same school (different programs though) - wrapping up my SOP at the moment as well. Best of luck!

Hey all, So checking the results page of this site, it seems that some people were offered an interview for the program I had also applied to. Does this mean that I will most likely be rejected? Do they hold multiple interview rounds? The open house/interview weekend is in a couple of months and I just feel that I don't have any chances at this point
