Hey everyone, I'm heading to Stanford this fall as part of the Immunology program. Just got my housing assignment-- 2 bed / 2 bath in Sharon Green. The pictures looked nice, but the reviews are absolutely terrible, so now I'm kind of scared. Anyone else in the same position? Or does anybody know more about Sharon Green? The reviews sound like a lot of professionals that have high standards, but still, they're horrible reviews. Also, is the insurance plan included in our package, or do we have to pay for it out of our stipend? Looking forward to meeting everyone soon!

I just attended that interview as well, and same impression. I was not at all impressed by the program, faculty, students, etc. Definitely my least favorite interview so far.

For those of you going to the UC Davis Immunology recruitment, I'm a bit confused. I thought we wouldn't be having interviews, or at least we were told wouldn't have "one-on-one faculty interviews." Yet on the schedule, there is a slot from 1:00-3:00 for interviews. Any idea what's going on?

UCSD BMS rejection at 2:00am this morning... O_o

I have absolutely no idea when they went out last year. At this point, I'm just assuming a rejection and focusing on my current interviews. If I happen to get an email, then all the better. And my account also said they had not received my GRE scores, but I believe that's because you send them to SOPHAS, not Berkeley.

I am still so confused about Berkeley IDI as well. What is going on with them?

Yes, I got an attachment. It looks like it's the interview packet that they'll be sending via snail mail. If for some weird reason you don't have an attachment, maybe email them back?

UCSD is seriously confusing me. I saw some neuro invites come out in December. Are they just trickling out as they make decisions...?

Yeah, I was expecting a Stanford rejection, particularly after the Cornell rejection... Here's to hoping I survive the interview. D: And you and I are in different home programs, so not weird that we'd get them separately. Good luck!!!
