Yeah, Fulbright does that to you!
I'm weirdly calm today. The last week or so I was crazy nervous every day, but today feels better...Maybe I'm not losing my mind like I thought I was
I applied for Research. They prefer Tuesdays and Wednesday for that and the third week of march...BUT OH WELL. I had this awkward moment where I got my teaching assignments for next semester and had to be like...I may or may not be here...just fyi.
I hope you get the ETA! My friend did it and had a splendid time! She learned so much and really grew as a person.
1) Congrats on finding out!
2) Congrats on alternate! I know it feels like its own hell, but just remember: if they had more funding, they would have given you a grant! It totally is an honor.
Yeah. My goal was just to make it to round 2. Obviously, I want to win, but I was trying to be realistic. Even if I do believe in my application, the committee might not be as passionate about it as I am. And it was such a fun learning experience too.
It just sucks because they are "late" compared to previous years and I just found out my teaching schedule, so I'll need to know if I need to withdraw from that or not.
