Well I was accepted into a fully funded PhD program and was still waiting to hear back from Fulbright three years ago and was essentially told if I got it to take it because I'd get into better schools. However, this was for study/research. I've heard ETAs only help in certain fields.

Well it's gonna snow a ton Tuesday so the offices will most likely be closed.

I'm convinced Germany will be next week like usual, but so many are notifying early...

From a friend, France Research has notified.

On your phone, you can set it to not show previews or even show up on the screen. It'll show in the mail command center if you use an iphone (i.e. it'll show a number), but it won't display on your phone. If you're interested in that, then I can post directions. Otherwise, you can create filters in GMAIL, but it won't ding for the specific email (hence why I did the gmail account from the start, but I've also been through this before and didn't want to go through it the same way again).

It's partly why I set up my email the way I did. I wanted to know the email is there and be able to take a minute. I did it that way with the semi-final email too.

I still don't get why they must put the status in...like...let me breathe, please.

They find out at the same time. They were Cc'd on my email two years ago.

Well, I actually set up a gmail account just for my Fulbright app (for the noise option and peace of mind, like that is happening at all right now), but I think you can also make filters.

I saw the Finland notified early and was like: Maybe Germany will. Now I want to vomit everything I hear my email go off. Except this makes no sense because I have a special noise for Fulbright emails. YET HERE WE ARE.

I hope you get converted! I know alternate is its own Hell, but I hope it ends up worth it for you!
